Water Safety Cup

The Water Safety Cup is a recurring event, born in 2014 as the Sports Safety Day in San Benedetto dei Marsi, in the heart of the Marsica region in the province of L'Aquila. In its editions, the day has combined the practice of water polo and swimming with competitive lifesaving and first aid demonstrations, with the goal of educating young people on the principles of water safety. Hosted by the Aquaria Sporting Club and promoted by the UISP Committee of L'Aquila together with the Centro Italia Nuoto, the event has proven over the years to be an appointment capable of combining great sports, entertainment, and awareness.
