WAM International W.A. Mozart Festival

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the WAM International W.A. Mozart Festival was held from August 11th to 25th in the municipalities of Rovereto, Riva del Garda, and the Vallagarina valley, in the province of Trento, with a program centered on the theme of the voice.

Among the highlights, on August 24th in the Courtyard of the Palazzo di Giustizia, the Bozen Baroque Orchestra returned under the direction of Claudio Astronio, accompanied by soprano Silvia Lombardi François and baritone Renato Dolcini, for an evening of arias from lesser-known works by Mozart and the Rovereto-born composer Giacomo Gotifredo Ferrari, performed on period instruments. The final day on August 25th featured, among other events, a concert in Villa Lagarina at the Church of Santa Maria Assunta by the duo Enrico Bissolo (organ) and Marie Jaermann (soprano), featuring a program of spiritual vocal music by Mozart and Handel.
