The 2025 edition
The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, October 12, as part of the 13th National Walking Day promoted by FederTrek. The gathering of participants was scheduled for 9:00 AM at the Reserve headquarters, in Contrada Carpello in Posta Fibreno, with departure at 9:30 AM.
The route, a loop of approximately 8.7 kilometers with 205 meters of elevation gain and T difficulty (tourist itinerary), passed through the historic center of the village before descending along the shores of the lake and returning to the Reserve headquarters. The accompaniment was provided by AIGAE environmental hiking guide Antonio Vano together with the staff of the protected area.
The associations
The walk saw the participation of the CAI of Gallinaro, ASI, Legambiente of Sessa Aurunca, the Nordic Walking ASD of Frosinone, and the ASD Albalonga, for a total of about three hundred participants. The day ended with a social moment at the Reserve headquarters. Participation was free, with an insurance contribution of 1 euro for non-members and mandatory booking by 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 11.
