Edition 2025 — Walking and Eating
In 2025, the first edition of Camminar Mangiando, a gastronomic walk around Lake Comabbio, was launched. It was born from the collaboration between five Pro Loco associations from the Varese area. The initiative combined the pleasure of slow walking with that of good food, with gastronomic stops distributed along a route that also included the woods of Mercallo.
From its very first edition, the event combined the promotion of the territory with a charitable purpose, donating part of the proceeds to the Giacomo Ascoli Foundation of Varese, and laying the groundwork for an event destined to be repeated in the following years.
