2025 Edition - "Let's cultivate peace"
The ninth edition of the Walk Among the Olive Trees was held in Buseto Palizzolo on Sunday, October 26, 2025, as part of the national day promoted by the National Association of Oil Cities. The chosen theme, "Let's cultivate peace", gave the walk a meaning that went beyond a simple excursion, emphasizing dialogue, respect, and solidarity.
The meeting point was set for 9:30 AM with departure at 10:00 AM from the former oil mill in Contrada Bombolone, Via Antonino Manzo. Participants followed an easy 2.5-kilometer route, lasting one hour, immersing themselves in the ancient olive groves and rural landscapes of the Trapani region. The initiative, organized by the Municipality of Buseto Palizzolo with local associations, confirmed the community's strong bond with its olive-growing tradition.
