Edition 2025 — Vox Populi

The tenth edition of Vox Populi took place from July 28 to August 2, 2025, at the Atrio del Palazzo Marchesale in Galatone. For one week, five Salento dialect companies took turns on stage with evening performances at 8:30 PM, showcasing comedy in the local vernacular. The festival, organized by the Compagnia ti Santu Luca with the Pro Loco and the municipal administration, enlivened the summer evenings as part of the Estate Galatea.

Vox Populi 2025, the tenth edition

The tenth edition of the Vox Populi dialect theatre festival was held in Galatone (LE) from July 28 to August 2, 2025, at the Atrio del Palazzo Marchesale. Every evening, starting at 8:30 PM, the historic courtyard hosted a different amateur troupe from Salento: five dialect groups took turns performing brilliant comedies in the Salento vernacular.

Organized by the Compagnia ti Santu Luca in collaboration with the Pro Loco and under the patronage of the Municipality of Galatone and the Province of Lecce, the event was part of the Estate Galatea program. Between laughter and popular tradition, the 2025 edition confirmed the festival's strong bond with the Galatone community and the local theatrical culture.
