Edition 2025 — Volterra Roman Theatre Festival

The 23rd edition of the Volterra International Roman Theatre Festival took place from July 12 to August 3, 2025, at the Roman theatre of Vallebona. Eighteen events spanning theatre, dance, music, and publishing transformed Volterra into a widespread stage, weaving together classical tradition and contemporary languages, under the patronage of the Municipality and the Tuscany Region.

The 23rd edition of the Volterra International Roman Theatre Festival was held from July 12 to August 3, 2025, featuring eighteen events including theatre, dance, music, and publishing.

Among the performances, the Korego Theatre Group from Amsterdam staged 'The Bacchae by Euripides' (July 26), while the late July and early August programme included 'Casanova' (July 31 and August 2) and numerous other productions until August 3. The festival was founded and directed by Simon Domenico Migliorini.
