ViviVerde

The 2025 edition of ViviVerde, the 24th, dressed Castell'Alfero in spring with a rich and varied program. The day opened with the commemoration of the Liberation anniversary at 9:30 AM, followed by the 12 km walk in the Monferrato territory and the performance of the Palio flag-wavers at 11:45 AM.

Along the streets and squares, the Pro Loco and local restaurants offered Piedmontese specialties: raw beef, agnolotti, finanziera, and boiled meats. Among the novelties, the first Day of free exchange of plants and seeds in Piazza Castello, with a lecture by writer Lorenza Zambon. In the Castle, sculptures by Livio Boscolo and paintings by Adriano Ablatico made with saffron and local wines were on display, while the "StendiArte" initiative transformed the Town Hall terraces into a gallery. For the little ones, performances by stilt-walker Andrea Marasso, traditional games, and ancient crafts. The evening closed with roving musical groups, a DJ set, and an apericena at sunset.
