Vivere Bolognetta in August 2025

The second edition, from 7 to 11 August 2025, enlivened the squares of Bolognetta for five evenings with a multidisciplinary and free programme.

• Thursday 7 August — Piazza Caduti in Guerra: "Joline 9.0" concert by Palermo singer-songwriter Joline Terranova.
• Friday 8 August — Piazza Palma De Gandia: "Le Poesie di San Lorenzo" reading; in Piazza Caduti in Guerra, the "Ballo Bolognetta" with DJ Francesco Barcia.
• Saturday 9 August — Piazza Caduti in Guerra: second edition of "Burraco under the stars".
• Sunday 10 August — White Night "Tradition, Taste, and Culture": olive oil tourism at Palazzo Monachelli, solemn mass for Saint Anthony of Padua, visits to the Museum of Peasant Life with seasoned bread tasting, flag-wavers from Caccamo, street performers, magic cabaret by Davide Tusa, and final dance in Piazza Matrice.
• Monday 11 August — Piazza Caduti in Guerra: the Teatro Zappalà of Palermo presents "Miseria e nobiltà" by Eduardo Scarpetta.

All events were free of charge. The event was promoted by the Municipality of Bolognetta with the support of the Metropolitan City of Palermo, the Sicilian Region, and the GAL Metropoli Est, in collaboration with the cultural association Facitur.

Thursday 7 August

• 22:00 — Piazza Caduti in Guerra: "Joline 9.0" concert by Palermo singer-songwriter Joline Terranova.

Friday 8 August

• 21:30 — Piazza Palma De Gandia: "Le Poesie di San Lorenzo", poetry readings by Nicola Campagna, Giulia Gippetto, Angela Ingui, and Antonino Lo Bue (voice by Piera Bivona, sound effects by Riccardo Canzoneri).
• 21:00-23:00 — Piazza Caduti in Guerra: "Ballo Bolognetta" with DJ Francesco Barcia.

Saturday 9 August

• 21:00 — Piazza Caduti in Guerra: second edition of "Burraco under the stars".

Sunday 10 August — White Night "Tradition, Taste, and Culture"

• 12:00 — Palazzo Monachelli (Museum of Taste): "Olive Oil Tourism", rural aperitif with journalist Mario Liberto.
• 18:30 — Mother Church: solemn mass in honour of Saint Anthony of Padua.
• 19:00-23:00 — Via Armando Diaz: visits to the Museum of Peasant Life with seasoned bread tasting.
• 21:00 — Performance by the Caccamo flag-wavers through the village streets.
• From 22:00 — Main street and Piazza Matrice: street performers, bubble shows, magic with animals, and fire dancing.
• 23:30 — Piazza Matrice: magic cabaret with Davide Tusa.
• From 01:00 — Piazza Matrice: dancing with DJ Giuseppe Pulizzotto.

Monday 11 August

• 21:30 — Piazza Caduti in Guerra: the Teatro Zappalà of Palermo presents "Miseria e nobiltà" by Eduardo Scarpetta.
