Edition 2025 — Visioni dal Mondo

The XI edition of Visioni dal Mondo took place in September 2025 in Milan, confirming the festival as a benchmark for documentaries in Italy. The Italian and international competitions, virtual reality works, and the industry section were featured, between Teatro Litta and the Science Museum.

The 2025 edition of Visioni dal Mondo renewed the Milanese appointment with real cinema, offering a selection of Italian and international documentaries in its competitive sections. Teatro Litta hosted the heart of the screenings, while the Leonardo da Vinci Science Museum welcomed the section dedicated to virtual reality.

True to its format, the festival complemented the competitions with the Visioni Incontra industry section, dedicated to documentary projects seeking funding, as well as meetings and discussion forums. Under the guidance of Francesco Bizzarri and Maurizio Nichetti, the event reaffirmed Milan's role as the capital of documentary filmmaking, telling the present through stories and perspectives from around the world.
