Vintage Engines in the Historic Centre
The Vintage Car Rally in Martinengo is an event dedicated to enthusiasts of vintage engines, historic vehicles, and automotive tradition. It takes place in the charming historic centre of the Municipality, in the Province of Bergamo, between Piazza Maggiore and the arcaded streets that tell the story of the village's Colleoni past. Exhibitions, convivial moments, and processions make the day an opportunity to experience the passion for historic cars in a setting of great charm.
The Association Festival
Held concurrently with the car rally is the Association and Volunteer Festival, hosted under the Colleoni arcades in Via Tadino. It serves as a showcase for the numerous local associations, which present their activities and social commitment, blending automotive passion with community life.
A Village with a Strong Identity
Martinengo owes much of its identity to Bartolomeo Colleoni, the condottiero who made it one of his fiefs and left his mark on the historic centre's architecture, from the arcades to the fortifications. It is within this scenery that the vintage cars move, creating a fascinating contrast between history and mechanics.
Car Rally & Association Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition is the XIII Vintage Car Rally of Martinengo, held on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Piazza Maggiore and along the streets of the historic centre. Simultaneously, under the Colleoni arcades in Via Tadino, the Association and Volunteer Festival takes place. The event is promoted under the patronage of the Municipality of Martinengo (BG).
Programme Car Rally & Association Festival 2026
Sunday, May 10, 2026 in the historic centre of Martinengo:
- 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM — Participant registration in Piazza Maggiore.
- From 9:00 AM — Exhibition of vintage cars in Piazza Maggiore and along the historic centre streets.
- 11:00 AM — Timed skill tests.
- 11:30 AM — Procession through the historic village and the Colleoni fortifications.
- 12:15 PM — Aperitif stop and final awards.
Throughout the morning, under the Colleoni arcades in Via Tadino, the Association and Volunteer Festival takes place, with stands from local associations.
