Vinschger Oktoberfest Prad

The Vinschger Oktoberfest 2025, now in its eleventh edition, took place in early October at the middle school gymnasium of Prato allo Stelvio/Prad am Stilfserjoch, in the Vinschgau Valley. As per tradition, the event recreated the atmosphere of the great Bavarian beer festivals: original Oktoberfest beer served in steins, a live band to warm up the evening, and a wide selection of South Tyrolean culinary specialties, from pretzels to traditional mountain dishes.

Organized by the Ferienregion Ortlergebiet together with local village associations, the festival confirmed its role as a beloved autumn event for the Upper Vinschgau community, at the foot of the Stelvio National Park.
