Summer cinema at Villa Sottocasa
In Vimercate (Province of Monza and Brianza), summer ends with cinema under the stars. The Open-Air Cinema section of the Vimercate Festival — the summer event promoted by the Municipality and known as Festival Sottocasa — brings about thirty films to the scenic Cour d'Onore of Villa Sottocasa.
A curated series
The artistic and organizational direction is entrusted to Bloom Cinema, an active local entity that offers a quality program: alongside the season's major titles, there are special evenings with guests and films selected as part of the national Cinema Revolution initiative, with reduced ticket prices.
The context: the Vimercate Festival
Open-Air Cinema is the third stage of the Festival Sottocasa's summer calendar, which runs from late May to late August: the In Giardino section (music and wellness), the In Corte section (theatre and music), and finally the August cinema. Everything takes place in the outdoor spaces of Villa Sottocasa, in the centre of Vimercate.
