Villanova in Palio 2025
The 2025 edition of the Palio dei Rioni in Villanova Mondovì confirmed the event's great popularity, with the town's twelve districts engaged in a series of trials spread throughout the month of June. The competitions opened on Wednesday, June 18, with the bocce tournament and continued with traditional games and challenges in the streets and squares of the center.
The final competitions took place on June 26, with the districts participating in a sack race along Corso Marconi and a new obstacle course. The closing evening, Friday, June 27 in Piazza Filippi, featured the final dinner and the announcement of the winning district: Annunziata triumphed in a historic victory ahead of the Pasquero district, which was only four points behind. Following them were Villavecchia and Centro, then Garavagna and Branzola, followed by Roracco, San Grato, Giardini, Eula, Bongiovanni, and Madonna del Pasco.
