Edition 2025 — Villamagna Carnival

The 29th edition of the Villamagna Carnival took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, with the parade starting at 3 PM from the local winery, and a repeat performance on Shrove Tuesday, March 4. Eleven allegorical floats enlivened the historic center of Villamagna (CH), with music, dancing, and food trucks until the evening. Organized by Pro Loco Villamagna and local associations.

Villamagna Carnival 2025 — 29th edition

The 29th edition of the Villamagna Carnival was held in Villamagna, in the Province of Chieti, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, with the parade starting at 3 PM from the local winery square, and a repeat on Shrove Tuesday, March 4.

There were eleven allegorical floats, with themes such as Moulin Rouge, Rio de Janeiro, Shrek and the Land of Toys, Pirates of the Caribbean, Squid Game, Peaky Blinders, the circus, and jellyfish. The festival, with free admission, continued with music, dancing, and food trucks until the evening, confirming the vitality of a carnival tradition deeply rooted in the Abruzzese village.
