Edition 2025 — Village of Wishes

On Friday, August 8, 2025, Cocconato celebrated the Village of Wishes as part of the national initiative of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy. The highlight was the dinner under the stars with a Monferrato tasting menu for 30 euros, accompanied by astronomical observation and the Magic Well of wishes in the heart of the Asti village.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition was held on Friday, August 8 in Cocconato, transforming the medieval village into a fairytale setting for the Night of San Lorenzo. The dinner under the stars, priced at 30 euros and organized by Cantina del Ponte, featured a local menu: welcome aperitif, French-style raw Fassone beef, Cocconato robiola cheese with confit cherry tomatoes and spelt croutons, whole-wheat fusilloni with lemon and Taggiasca olives, Monferrato-style carpione, and caramelized figs with ice cream, all paired with wines from the Consortium of Cocconato.

The evening combined local flavors with sky observation guided by experts from the Turin Astronomical Observatory and the National Institute for Astrophysics, while the Magic Well collected the wishes of participants under the shooting stars of the Asti Monferrato.
