Edition 2025 — Music Under the Stars

During the summer of 2025, the historic Villa San Michele concert series enlivened Friday evenings in Anacapri with a series of performances on the panoramic terrace of Axel Munthe's home. Opera singers, pianists, and guest musicians, largely from the Italian and Scandinavian schools, accompanied the audience at sunset over the Gulf of Naples, confirming the international vocation and the cultural bond between Italy and Sweden that characterizes the event.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Villa San Michele concert series took place in the heart of summer in Anacapri, with the customary Friday evening concerts on the terrace overlooking the sea. As per tradition, the program combined great classical and operatic repertoire with chamber music moments, thanks to Italian performers and international guests. The series, curated by the Swedish Foundations in Capri with musical consulting by Bo Löfvendahl and the patronage of the Embassy of Sweden, represented one of the landmark cultural events of the summer in Campania, attracting residents and tourists to the unique setting of Axel Munthe's villa-museum.
