Edition 2025 — Vigevano for Chess

The first edition of Vigevano for Chess attracted over 260 participants from 14 world federations to the Cavallerizza of the Sforza Castle. Between international youth and open tournaments, cultural meetings, and a charity dinner, the debut established Vigevano as the new chess capital in the province of Pavia.

The debut edition of Vigevano for Chess brought over 260 participants from 14 world federations to the Cavallerizza of the Sforza Castle, including Under 20s and adult players in the open tournament. The success of the first edition, complemented by cultural meetings, a charity dinner, and convivial evenings, laid the groundwork for the event's return to the Municipality of Vigevano, with the support of the Piacenza and Vigevano Foundation and local service clubs.
