Edition 2025 — Viareggio Cup

The 75th edition of the Viareggio Cup was held from March 17 to 31, 2025, with 24 Under-18 teams, evenly split between Italian and foreign sides. In the final, Genoa beat Fiorentina 1-0, with a decisive goal by Marconi in the 28th minute, claiming the prestigious Coppa Carnevale trophy in front of disappointed Viola fans.

The 75th edition of the Viareggio Tournament was played from March 17 to 31, 2025, with 24 Under-18 teams divided equally between Italian and foreign sides. The final, played on March 31, saw Genoa triumph, overcoming Fiorentina with a score of 1-0 thanks to a goal by Marconi in the 28th minute of the first half, following a corner kick.

Among the individual awards, Genoa swept the honors: Lorenzo Colonnese won the "Golden Boy" as best player, Pietro Baccelli the best goalkeeper award, and Mamedi Doucouré the best defender award; Gennaro Ruotolo received the recognition for best coach of the winning team.
