Viandando 2025 in Centola

The thirteenth edition of Viandando enlivened the historic center of Centola, in the province of Salerno, from August 8th to 10th, 2025. The theme chosen for the historical-cultural route was the 400th anniversary of the Capuchin Convent of the town: exhibitions, guided tours, and short theatrical performances accompanied visitors in discovering its history.

Taste, crafts, and music

Along the village alleys, gastronomic and craft stalls alternated, featuring traditional Cilento dishes and handmade pasta prepared according to home recipes. Roving music was the common thread of the three evenings: Friday the 8th featured the Viando Live Show with the street musicians of Lanterna Folk, Saturday the 9th the Juke Box Band, and Sunday the 10th the closing was entrusted to the tour of Pina Speranza, again accompanied by Lanterna Folk.

The first edition of Dolciando

2025 marked the debut of Dolciando, the dessert competition where pastry enthusiasts presented their creations to a jury, with tastings also open to the public. As every year, the event organized by the San Nicola non-profit organization supported the restoration of the Mother Church of San Nicola di Mira.
