Viale Bagatti in Festa

Viale Bagatti in Festa is the neighbourhood festival held along Viale Bagatti, on the border between Paderno Dugnano, Varedo, and the hamlet of Palazzolo Milanese, in the metropolitan area of Milan. For over ten years, this long tree-lined avenue has been transformed for three days into a large space for celebration and socialising.

The Oases of the festival

The avenue is organised into different thematic areas, the 'Oases': the Oasis of Solidarity, dedicated to local associations; the Children's Oasis, with games and activities for the little ones; the Crafts and Trades Oasis, with exhibitions by artisans and craftspeople; and the Taste Oasis, dedicated to gastronomy. This division makes the festival organised and rich in offerings for every interest.

Entertainment and Activities

The programme is particularly lively for families: dog agility, falconry, archery, and kites take turns along the avenue, alongside cultural and sporting initiatives. It is a festival designed to be enjoyed by strolling, discovering new activities and shows along the way, in a community atmosphere.

A Community Festival

Viale Bagatti in Festa is organised by the Associazione Amici del Viale Bagatti (Friends of Viale Bagatti Association), under the patronage of the Municipality of Paderno Dugnano, in the province of Milan. Admission is free. More than just a simple sagra (local festival), it is an example of how a residential street can become a place for meeting and celebration, strengthening the sense of belonging for the inhabitants of the area between Paderno Dugnano and Varedo.
