Vesuvius Wine, Flavors and Knowledge Festival

The 25th edition

From September 26 to 28, 2025, the historic center of Boscoreale hosted the twenty-fifth edition of the Vesuvius Wine, Flavors and Knowledge Festival, organized by the Il Nuovo Vesuvio Cultural Association, chaired by Angelo Cesarano. An important milestone celebrated with an even richer sensory journey, amidst the aromas, flavors, and atmospheres of the Vesuvius tradition.

The opening night on Friday, September 26, was dedicated to "Vesuvius knowledge," with dance performances and cultural moments. On Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28, the food and wine trail came to life, with Lacryma Christi tastings curated in collaboration with AIS Vesuvius, stalls of traditional dishes, crafts, and traditional games, all animated by tammurriate and paranze. The festival concluded on Sunday evening in Piazza Pace with a major concert by Gigi Finizio, with free admission.

Friday, September 26 (from 8:30 PM): opening night dedicated to "Vesuvius knowledge" with dance performances (ASD Brivido Latino and Passional Dance). Saturday, September 27 (from 7:00 PM): official opening at the Immacolata Concezione Parish; food and wine trail with Lacryma Christi and traditional dishes; folk music with Simone Carotenuto and the Tammurrari del Vesuvio, La Paranza di Terzigno, Le Sette Bocche, and traveling groups; AIS Vesuvius masterclass on Lacryma Christi with delegate Ernesto Lamatta (limited seating). Sunday, September 28: continuation of the food and wine trail and, at 10:00 PM in Piazza Pace, closing concert by Gigi Finizio.
