Unlike general film festivals, Vertigo chooses to focus on the short format, celebrating it as an independent language capable of great expressive power.

Three Souls: Fiction, Documentary, Animation

The festival's selection encompasses three main categories: fiction, documentary, and animation. This variety allows the audience to explore different genres, styles, and sensibilities, discovering works that are often difficult to see on traditional circuits. The shorts in the programme come from various countries, giving the festival an international scope.

BASE Milano, Home of the Festival

The venue is BASE Milano, a former industrial site (the former Ansaldo) transformed into a cultural and creative hub, now a benchmark for artistic experimentation in the city. Its halls and spaces offer the festival a contemporary and informal setting, perfect for an event that primarily appeals to a young and curious audience.
