Edition 2025 — Vertical Trail Courmayeur
The 2025 edition of the Vertical Trail Courmayeur Mont Blanc once again offered its format dedicated to vertical races in Courmayeur. The protagonists were the VK1 and the VK2 – Vertical K2000, the flagship event with about 2000 meters of positive altitude gain, one of the toughest on the international calendar, with an arrival at high altitude near the Skyway Monte Bianco. An event reserved for uphill running specialists, in one of the most spectacular Alpine settings in the Aosta Valley, on the eve of the 2026 tenth anniversary.
Programme
The 2025 edition re-offered the two historic events of the competition:
- VK1 — vertical race from the center of Courmayeur towards the mountain
- VK2 – Vertical K2000 — approximately 2000 meters of positive altitude gain, with arrival at high altitude towards the Skyway Monte Bianco
