Vertical Rocciamelone

The second edition of the Vertical Rocciamelone was run on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Mompantero, Susa Valley, on the vertical track of 4.5 km and 1,354 meters of elevation gain from Rifugio La Riposa (2,182 m) to the summit of Rocciamelone (3,538 m).

In the men's category, Marcello Ugazio (Project VCO) triumphed in 53'21", a new race record, ahead of Stefano Castagneri (1h00'59") and Fabio Martinat (1h01'14"). In the women's category, victory went to Corinna Ghirardi (Skyrunning Adventure) in 1h06'10", ahead of the defending champion Camilla Calosso (1h09'08") and Sonia Meleca (1h13'00").

A violent thunderstorm, with a risk of lightning at high altitude, forced the organization to stop the race for the second half of the athletes for safety reasons. The event was organized by Piossasco Trail Runners ASD and Li Viol Ousitan ASD.
