Edition 2025 — Vertical Egua

The 2nd Vertical Egua took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Carcoforo, with the competitive time trial starting at 10:00 AM from the village center. The 4.5 km, 960m elevation gain course led athletes to the Volpone-Sesone Bivouac, while the non-competitive hike reached Rifugio Boffalora, the venue for lunch and the awards ceremony. The race, organized by Sci Club Carcoforo, is dedicated to the memory of F. Volpone, S. Lana, and L. Gianella.

The second edition of the Vertical Egua was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Carcoforo, in the province of Vercelli. The competitive time trial started at 10:00 AM from the village center, tackling the 4.5 km and 960m elevation gain up to the Volpone-Sesone Bivouac, at the foot of Colle Egua. Simultaneously, a non-competitive hike took place to Rifugio Boffalora, where lunch and the awards ceremony were held. The event, organized by Sci Club Carcoforo, is a memorial dedicated to F. Volpone, S. Lana, and L. Gianella, with registration managed via Wedosport.
