Edition 2025 — Vernant que chanta

The 2025 edition of Vernant que chanta was held on Sunday, June 8, in Vernante, in the Vermenagna Valley. Piedmontese choirs animated the streets of the "Pinocchio village" all day long, while the Vernantin knife exhibition was set up in Piazza de l'Ala. The festival, in memory of Walter Bassignano, known as "Punta," concluded with the traditional plate of polenta and stew at the former sawmill.

On Sunday, June 8, 2025, Vernante celebrated a new edition of Vernant que chanta, the festival of Piedmontese folk songs, which has become a traditional appointment since 2010, the year it was founded in memory of Walter Bassignano, known as "Punta."

Throughout the day, Piedmontese choirs animated the streets of the center, while the exhibition of the famous Vernantin knives was open to visitors in Piazza de l'Ala from the morning. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Giovani of Vernante with the support of the Pro Loco, concluded with a convivial gathering at the former sawmill, where a plate of polenta and stew was served in an atmosphere of sharing.
