Verghereto Trail (and Fumaiolo Ultra Trail)

The 2025 edition, the sixth of the event, confirmed the growth of the Verghereto Trail: 393 athletes classified along the mule tracks and forest paths of the Alto Savio Apennines, plus the walkers of the non-competitive route. On the 65 km Fumaiolo Ultra Trail with 3,100 meters of elevation gain, Luca Arrigoni triumphed, ahead of Luca Zamagni and Riccardo Pianesi; among the women, Dinahlee Calzolari won. Making the event possible, as always, were institutions, associations, and numerous volunteers stationed along the route leading to the finish line in Piazza San Michele, in Verghereto.
