Verdi Theater Season of Pordenone

The 2024/2025 season at the Verdi Theater confirmed the quality of the Pordenone programming. The drama program, curated by Claudia Cannella, brought nine titles to the Main Hall – including comedy, drama, and musical theater – produced by leading Italian theaters (Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Teatro di Roma, Stabile di Torino, Stabile del Veneto, Teatro di Napoli, Nazionale di Genova, and others), largely as regional exclusives, alongside the 'Nuove Scritture' series. The dance program hosted the 'Flamenca' company of Antonio Gades from Spain, the Compagnia Zappalà Danza with the Trilogy of Ecstasy (March 21) – choreographic reinterpretations of Debussy's Après-midi d'un faune, Ravel's Boléro, and Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps – and the Compagnia di Daniele Cipriani with the Viennese waltz. The season was completed by major musical events and opera titles.
