Verdi 1901 is a concert that takes you back in time, making the music of Giuseppe Verdi resonate with the authentic timbre of 19th-century instruments. The event takes place in Piazza del Santuario della Madonna delle Lacrime, one of the symbolic places of Treviglio, in the province of Bergamo, on a summer evening dedicated to great music.

The Mascoulisse Quartet

The protagonist of the evening is the Mascoulisse Quartet, a trombone ensemble founded in 2007 by four musicians who graduated with top honors from the Conservatories of Brescia and Bergamo. Known for their always original programs, they have performed at important festivals and venues in Italy, Europe, the United States, and Asia. With the Verdi 1901 project, they re-perform moments from Verdi's masterpieces on authentic 19th-century instruments.
