Edition 2025 — Venetico Living Nativity

The eleventh edition of the Venetico Living Nativity took place in the historic center of Venetico Superiore on December 26, 27, and 28, 2025, and January 4, 5, and 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In the alleys of the medieval village, dozens of costumed actors brought the Nativity scenes and ancient trades to life, in an evocative path curated by the Associazione Venetico per tutti.

2025 Edition

The eleventh edition of the Venetico Living Nativity animated the historic center of Venetico Superiore on the evenings of December 26, 27, and 28, 2025, and January 4, 5, and 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Along the village alleys, visitors were able to follow an itinerary through Nativity scenes, ancient trade workshops, and costumed actors.

The event was organized by the Associazione Venetico per tutti together with the Associazione Nikolaus and the Christian Workers Movement, with the patronage of the Municipality of Venetico, confirming the strong participation of the local community in one of the most beloved Christmas traditions in the Messina area.

Programme

Opening of the living nativity route in the historic center of Venetico Superiore from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on December 26, 27, and 28, 2025, and January 4, 5, and 6, 2026. Nativity scenes, ancient trade workshops, and costumed actors along the village alleys.
