Edition 2025 — VELA Cup Puglia

In 2025, the VELA Cup Puglia enlivened Marina di Brindisi from May 30 to June 1, with the regatta held on Saturday, May 31. Over forty registered boats competed along the 13-mile coastal route, amidst the steady early summer wind, starting from Puntariso and passing towards the Torre Guaceto Marine Protected Area, in a long weekend of sailing and celebration in the waters of Salento.

VELA Cup Puglia 2025

The 2025 edition of the VELA Cup Puglia transformed Marina di Brindisi into the beating heart of Italian sailing from May 30 to June 1, with the regatta scheduled for Saturday, May 31, as a stage of the Giornale della Vela national circuit.

Over 40 registered boats took part in the 13-mile coastal race, starting north of the Puntariso Dam, with a buoy at Punta Penne-Punta del Serrone and a stretch along the coast to the Torre Guaceto Marine Protected Area. A day of steady wind and sun provided a spectacular regatta, followed by the traditional prize-giving party. Marina di Brindisi offered free mooring to crews arriving from outside the area, confirming the welcoming nature of the Apulian leg.
