VejAmo Festival

Before the birth of the VejAmo Festival, cultural life in Vejano revolved around the season at the Teatro Comunale. The 2024/2025 season, artistically directed by Fausto Costantini Nicolai, offered five Sunday afternoon events between March and May 2025: the Neapolitan comedy "Questi fantasmi" by Eduardo De Filippo performed and directed by Mario Adinolfi, Cinzia Leone with "Mamma sei sempre nei miei pensieri, spostati", Barbara Bovoli in "Arianna ha perso il filo", Pippo Franco with "Il Grande Viaggio", and Carlotta Rondana with "Femminile Single(are)". A lineup of prose and comedy that confirmed the vocation of the small theatre at the Villa Comunale, which was later temporarily suspended for structural work: it is precisely from this experience that the 2026 VejAmo Festival project, supported by the Lazio Region, was born.
