Edition 2025 — Veillà
The 40th edition of the Veillà d'Etroubles took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, confirming the medieval village as the ideal stage for a journey back in time. The evening opened at 7:00 PM with tasting points set up in the Town Hall square and along the village streets, then came alive at 8:00 PM with the reenactment of crafts of the past, animated by over a hundred volunteers from the Pro Loco and the village. To crown the celebration, dancing in the square with the Luca Panama orchestra. An important milestone for an event that has been telling the peasant and artisan roots of Etroubles since 1984.
Programme
Saturday, August 9, 2025 — Etroubles, medieval village
- From 7:00 PM — Gastronomic tastings in the Town Hall square: seupetta and minestrone, polenta, sausage and cheeses, cream, raspberries and merveilleux, Valdoburger sandwiches (new for 2025), two batches of black bread
- From 8:00 PM — Historical reenactment with over a hundred volunteers: spinning and weaving, butter production, vintage firefighters, potato harvesting, sausage making, woodcutters, blacksmith
- 10:30 PM — Dancing evening: dancing in the square with the Luca Panama orchestra
