Veglie Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Veglie Carnival took place over four events, from February 27 to March 9, with activities dedicated to children in schools and festive moments in the square. The parade of masked groups, with free and open registration, enlivened the streets of Veglie alongside individual masks and allegorical floats.

The grand finale was held on Sunday, March 9, in Piazza Umberto I, starting in the afternoon, with popcorn and cotton candy, a photo booth with cartoon characters, Brazilian dancers, and DJ sets. As every year, a jury awarded prizes to the most beautiful and original groups and masks, confirming the Veglie Carnival as one of the most popular local festivals in the city calendar.

Veglie Carnival 2025 Schedule

• February 27, March 2 and 4 — Carnival activities and parties in schools and the square for all ages.
• Masked Group Parade — Procession of masked groups, individual masks, and allegorical floats along the city center streets (free registration at "Mille Idee", via Vittorio Veneto).

Sunday, March 9 — The Grand Closing Party

Meeting in Piazza Umberto I from the afternoon (starting at 4:00 PM):

• Popcorn and cotton candy
• Photo booth with cartoon characters
• Brazilian dancers
• DJ set and entertainment
• Awards ceremony for the best masked groups and masks

Note: some events in the square were rescheduled due to bad weather, with the main party confirmed for March 9.
