Edition 2025 — Vastedda Festival

The 41st edition of the Vastedda Festival took place on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Torretta, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the village celebrated its typical focaccia with tastings, music, and folklore, featuring special guests Sasà Salvaggio and Antonio Pandolfo.

The 41st Vastedda Festival was held on December 8, 2025, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Torretta (Palermo), from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The star was the vastedda, a focaccia seasoned with fresh olive oil, caciocavallo, and ricotta, also available in a gluten-free version. The day featured the evocative parade of Sicilian carts, music, and entertainment, with the participation of Sasà Salvaggio (from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and Antonio Pandolfo (from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM). Admission was free.

Programme

From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele: vastedda tasting (including gluten-free), parade of Sicilian carts, music, and entertainment. Guests: Sasà Salvaggio (11:00-12:00) and Antonio Pandolfo (16:00-17:00).
