Valtidone Wine Fest in Pianello — 2025 Edition

On September 28, 2025, Pianello Val Tidone (Piacenza) concluded the 16th edition of the Valtidone Wine Fest with the "Pianello Frizzante" stop, in Piazza Madonna from 10 am to 7 pm, coinciding with the patronal feast of San Maurizio.

The tasting stands brought together about twenty wineries and producers from the valley, joined by a dozen artisans and specialty producers. The protagonists were the sparkling wines of the Colli Piacentini, with Gutturnio in the lead, paired with typical local products: batarò, honey, truffles, cotechino, and cured meats.

The day began with a performance by the flag-wavers of Cerreto Guidi and featured the bersaglieri brass band of Melzo, amidst markets in the historic center, an artisan fair, and fireworks that lit up the Saturday night. A grand finale that combined wine culture, popular tradition, and village festival.
