Valle Gesso Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Valle Gesso Carnival celebrated a signature local product with the theme "Potatoes on the Table", dedicated to the valley's renowned potato. The grand parade took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Cuneo, where 180 masked participants accompanied by a themed float brought the colors of the valley to the city. This was followed on Monday, March 3, by parades in the villages of Entracque, Valdieri, and Andonno starting at 2:30 PM. Among the awards, the first prize for costumes went to the pastoral unit with their potato-themed masks, and the first prize for floats went to the Madonna delle Grazie group. A celebration that, as the organizers noted, highlighted the teamwork of the municipalities and the community's spirit of sharing.
