Valle dello Jato International Music Competition

The eighth edition of the Valle dello Jato International Music Competition was held from May 27 to 31, 2025, at the Teatro Lucia Giani, located at Via Bellini 3 in Partinico, with performances starting at 12:00 PM. The event, organized by the Accademia della Cultura, welcomed participants from music-focused schools, conservatories, and musical associations.

The competition featured categories for soloists, chamber music, school orchestras, choirs, and bands, with sections dedicated to piano, guitar, strings, woodwinds, and accordion, as well as classical and jazz singing. Among the prizes awarded were scholarships for the absolute winners of each category, a 500-euro award for the best school orchestra, and the prestigious Valle dello Jato International Prize, worth 1,000 euros, which includes five concerts with Sicilian concert associations. Registration closed on May 23, 2025.
