Valle d'Itria International Band Festival

27th edition (2025)

In 2025, the Valle d'Itria International Band Festival celebrated its twenty-seventh edition in Cisternino, from July 24 to 27. The festival opened on Thursday, July 24, with the prologue concert by the hosts, the Junior Band AMC and the «Vitino Zizzi» Wind Orchestra, starting at 9:00 PM in Piazza Garibaldi.

Over the following evenings, bands and majorette groups from the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy paraded through the streets. On the closing Sunday, the festival expanded to the entire historic center with a widespread concert of guest bands at multiple locations, while Antonella Ruggiero performed on the Piazza Garibaldi stage. The edition, directed by maestro Donato Semeraro, marked the entry of Intesa Sanpaolo as the main sponsor of the event.
