Edition 2025 — Valle Anzasca Alpine Gathering

In 2025, the Alpine Troops groups of the Valle Anzasca met again, according to tradition, around June 2nd for the 18th edition of their gathering, hosted—as every year on a rotating basis—in one of the valley's locations. A parade, flag-raising, laying of wreaths at war memorials, and Holy Mass marked a day of memory and shared celebration among the nine communities of the upper Ossola.

The Valle Anzasca Alpine Troops Gathering has been renewed every year since 2007, rotating among the municipalities of the valley. The 2025 edition confirmed the established formula: a meeting of the 'black feathers', a parade accompanied by a brass band, flag-raising, laying of floral tributes at war memorials, Holy Mass, and a final convivial moment. An event that every year attracts Alpini, their families, and the inhabitants of the nine municipalities of the Valle Anzasca to remember the fallen and renew the spirit of Alpine solidarity, in anticipation of the 19th edition of 2026, entrusted to Bannio Anzino.
