Edition 2025 — Valfino al Canto
Valfino al Canto 2025 in Arsita
The 31st edition of Valfino al Canto was held in Arsita, in the Province of Teramo, from August 9th to 11th, 2025. True to its no-stage, no-amplification formula, the festival hosted about thirty groups of folk and pastoral music, with artists from Abruzzo, various Italian regions, and across Europe, from the Balkans to South America.
The event opened at 9:00 PM on August 9th with the whimsical procession of Santa Flurijì, patron of the festival and the musicians. Wandering concerts, dances, stories, and workshops animated the squares and alleys, while the Coatto Festival, featuring the traditional mutton stew, and evening food stands accompanied the nights. Free admission and a free camping area confirmed the welcoming and popular spirit of the festival.
