Edition 2025 — Val Pellice Liberation Festival

In 2025, marking the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, the Val Pellice Liberation Day Festival took on special significance, bringing together representatives from all municipalities of the Pinerolese Mountain Union and the entire Val Pellice. The celebrations were centered in Torre Pellice, featuring a city parade, the official oration, and the traditional Liberation Lunch organized by A.N.P.I.

The 2025 edition of the Val Pellice Liberation Day Festival celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Liberation and the Resistance, a deeply felt event throughout Val Pellice, a land with a strong partisan and Waldensian tradition. The initiatives, spread between April 24th and 27th, involved numerous municipalities in the valley—from Torre Pellice to Angrogna, from Luserna San Giovanni to Rorà—with parades, official speeches, concerts, documentary film screenings, and walks through sites of partisan memory.

In Torre Pellice, the heart of the valley, the day concluded with the Liberation Lunch at the Casa Unionista, a convivial moment that seals the commemoration every year and strengthens the community's bond with the values of freedom and the Constitution.
