Edition 2025 — Vahrner Kirchtagsfest
In 2025, the Vahrner Kirchtagsfest once again renewed the tradition of the Saint George patronal feast in Vahrn, organized by the Schützenkompanie Vahrn. As per tradition, the day combined a solemn Mass in the parish church of Saint George with festivities in the village square, featuring the participation of the Schützen in historical costumes and musical accompaniment.
The 2025 Kirchtag in Vahrn
In 2025, the Vahrner Kirchtagsfest reaffirmed Vahrn's bond with its patronal tradition. The Schützenkompanie Vahrn accompanied the celebration in honour of Saint George, the village patron, following the usual schedule: a solemn Mass in the morning at the parish church of Saint George and festivities in the village square. An edition that highlighted the identity value of the Kirchtag for the South Tyrolean community of the Isarco Valley.
