Edition 2025 — UTMB Mont-Blanc

In 2025, the UTMB Mont-Blanc once again animated the Mont Blanc area for a week, with Courmayeur serving as the Italian base and the starting point for the TDS, CCC, and ETC. Thousands of athletes from dozens of nations competed on the trails around the massif, spanning Italy, France, and Switzerland, reaffirming the event's status as the global benchmark for ultrarunning.

The 2025 edition of the UTMB Mont-Blanc brought together thousands of trail runners from around the world at the end of August around the Mont Blanc massif. Courmayeur confirmed its role as the Italian base, hosting the start of the TDS, the CCC (Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix), and the ETC, as well as the passage of the main UTMB race. A week of sport, celebration, and a large audience that transformed the Aosta Valley town into one of the world capitals of trail running, in anticipation of the 2026 edition.

Programme

The 2025 UTMB Mont-Blanc week featured the event's historic races, with Courmayeur as a central hub:

  • TDS — starting from Courmayeur
  • CCC (Courmayeur-Champex-Chamonix) — starting from Courmayeur, finishing in Chamonix
  • ETC — Experience Trail Courmayeur, with start and finish in town
  • UTMB — starting from Chamonix, passing through Courmayeur
