Urbino Teatro Urbano

2025 Edition (8th Edition)

The eighth edition of Urbino Teatro Urbano took place from June 30th to July 5th, 2025, organised by the Cesare Questa University Theatre Centre of the University of Urbino. The festival brought six theatre shows, urban performances, a concert, a residency, and two talks to the squares of the ducal city, as well as the advanced training course FITT - Fai il tuo teatro, now in its sixth edition.

The opening, on June 30th in Piazza Duca Federico, featured Moby Dick with Roberto Mercadini. Among the most applauded events were Molière Suite with Francesca Gabucci and Stefania Medri, the itinerant performance Urban Suite by Club Alieno, Casinaria by CTU Cesare Questa, and Essere o Non Essere by Luca Franceschi, closing in the charming Piazzetta del Carmine.
