Urbino Teatro Urbano

2025 Edition (8th Edition)

The eighth edition of Urbino Teatro Urbano took place from June 30 to July 5, 2025, organized by the Cesare Questa University Theatre Centre of the University of Urbino. The festival brought six theatre shows, urban performances, a concert, a residency, and two meetings to the squares of the ducal city, in addition to the FITT - Make Your Theatre advanced training course, now in its sixth edition.

The opening, on June 30 in Piazza Duca Federico, was entrusted to Moby Dick with Roberto Mercadini. Among the most applauded events were Molière Suite with Francesca Gabucci and Stefania Medri, the itinerant performance Urban Suite by Club Alieno, Casinaria by CTU Cesare Questa, and Essere o Non Essere by Luca Franceschi, closing in the evocative Piazzetta del Carmine.
