International Street Food in Limito
The Urban Lake Street Food Festival is the street food event that enlivens Limito di Pioltello, a district of the Metropolitan City of Milan. For a weekend, Piazza Don Milani and via Gramsci become a large open-air gastronomic village, with food trucks and kitchens from various culinary traditions.
A Journey Through World Flavors
The offering is intentionally international and varied. Among the proposals you will find:
- Argentinian Asado and Mexican Tacos
- Abruzzese Arrosticini and Pugliese Bombette
- Tuscan Hamburgers, smash burgers and gnocco fritto
- Neapolitan Fried Pizza, Bari panzerotti and paella
- Hot dogs, crepes and churros, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options
In the Spirit of San Giorgio
The festival is organized as part of the Patronal Feast of San Giorgio in Limito, while remaining an independent event. It is part of a week full of music, sports, and community initiatives that animate the district and its spaces, from the center to the renovated Parco Allende.
Urban Lake Street Food — edition 2026
From April 24 to 26, 2026, Limito di Pioltello hosts the Urban Lake Street Food Festival, with a wide selection of international cuisines. The event is part of the week-long celebrations for the patron saint San Giorgio, which also include sports tournaments at Parco Allende, exhibitions, the "Stralimito" non-competitive run, and family-friendly activities.

Friday, April 24 (from 6:00 PM)
- Opening of international food stands in Piazza Don Milani and via Gramsci.
Saturday, April 25 (from 11:00 AM)
- Street food all day; sports tournaments at Parco Allende (table tennis, five-a-side football, basketball), climbing wall, and freestyle riding exhibition in the afternoon.
Sunday, April 26 (from 11:00 AM)
- Street food, vintage car and motorcycle parade, "Stralimito" non-competitive run (5 km), and awards ceremony.
