University Concerts – Concert Season of the University of Messina

The 35th edition (2025)

The 35th Concert Season of the University of Messina featured seventeen dates between April and June 2025. The concerts were held in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate, while some special events – including the OpenStage_UniMe contest dedicated to young artists and the closing night – took place in the evocative Rectorate Courtyard in June.

The program, curated by artistic director Giuseppe Ministeri, blended classical music, chamber music, and jazz. The series was inaugurated by the show «Vaga Luna che inargenti» – History and adventures of Vincenzo Bellini, featuring multimedia elements and the participation of musicians and narrators, and concluded on June 12 with a performance of Rachmaninov's Second Symphony. In 2025, the initiative, supported by the University of Messina, once again confirmed its commitment to openness toward the city and the academic community.
