2025, the year that paved the way for UNITY

Before UNITY took shape in the Madonna del Piano area in Morolo, the sound system scene in the province of Frosinone already had a consolidated network. The Equinoxxx collective, born in 2024, had built an itinerant path of underground culture events in just over a year, involving various municipalities in Ciociaria, including Arnara, Frosinone, Giuliano di Roma, and Pofi.

During the same period, the Bomboklat Festival confirmed its summer appointment in Pofi dedicated to reggae, dancehall, and dub, standing as one of the most recognizable self-produced musical realities in Southern Lazio. It is from the meeting of these paths—together with the Roman collective Astarbene—that the first UNITY day was born in 2026: not a festival imposed from above, but the pooling of experiences already deeply rooted in the territory.
