Un Palco per Tutti: the MArteLive springboard in Rome

In the vibrant San Lorenzo district of Rome, Un Palco per Tutti is the series of music pre-selection nights for MArteLive, the multidisciplinary festival founded in 2001 by Giuseppe Casa. This is not just a concert, but a true showcase for the emerging scene: musicians and bands under 35 take the stage to compete for a spot in the national final of the competition. The evenings are held in various Roman live clubs, including Rebis on Via dei Marsi, and are designed as rites of passage rather than just fixed calendar appointments.

How the selection works

Artists register online by submitting their materials, which undergo a preliminary evaluation. Only the selected projects advance to the live performances, where they are judged by both a technical jury and the public vote of the audience in the room. For the Lazio Music section, the road to the Biennale runs through these Un Palco per Tutti nights in the capital's clubs.

The night at Rebis in San Lorenzo

Rebis, located at Via dei Marsi 17, is one of the stages hosting the contest. After the live sets of the competing projects, the space remains open from midnight for a jam session where all musicians present can participate, fostering the spirit of exchange and improvisation that is in the DNA of the format.

The prizes up for grabs

• Nuovo IMAIE Award: a 10,000 euro grant to organize a tour of at least five dates.
• MArteLabel Management Special Award: a three-year management contract worth 15,000 euro.
• Entry into the Scuderie MArteLive and circulation in national festivals supported by public institutions.

MArteLive, the total spectacle

Un Palco per Tutti is the musical gateway to the MArteLive Biennale, the major multidisciplinary competition that brings together sixteen artistic sections in Rome, from music to theater, dance to visual arts, and audiovisuals. The 2026 national final is hosted at the Lanificio in Rome. The initiative, rooted in the Municipality of Rome and the Lazio region, has been a reference point for emerging artists from all over Italy for over twenty years.
